Georgetown's Week For Chocolate { Day #1 }

Wanna know what’s more exciting than celebrating this year’s Valentine’s Day? Turning the most romantic, chocolate-filled day into a week long event by spending February 13th through 19th getting absolutely, and positively chocolate wasted. How? Well – for the first time ever, the brilliant DC SalesVote team and the lovely merchants of Georgetown are hosting the ultimate chocolate tour next week that will benefit three different local Non Profits – such as  Leadership Greater Washington – with every badge sold.

Here’s how it works. Purchase a badge online before Monday, and you’ll be given 5 tickets that you can redeem at any of these participating merchants:

Week 4 Chocolate

{ Psssst… isn’t Justin a cutie? FYI ladies, he’s single 😉 }

So whether it’s enjoying 2 Chocolate Martinis and a Frozen Hot Chocolate’s from Serendipity 3 with your sweetheart on Monday, bringing home a few chocolate dipped strawberries from Godiva for your mother on Tuesday, or taking a friend out for a pair of chocolate stouts and a dessert from Thunder Burger on Wednesday – there are several ways to spoil each of your loved ones with your Week For Chocolate badge.

Don’t care for chocolate? That’s okay! With other options like Sprinkles Cupcakes, Pinkberry, and Starbucks – you can still enjoy this week long event and satisfy your sweet tooth too.

{ Chocolate Martini | Frozen Hot Chocolate | Forbidden Broadway Sundae }

My first stop was at Georgetown’s new-kid-on-the-block, with raving roots from the culinary mecca of our nation’s Big Apple. Serendipity is rightfully world-famous for their Frozen Hot Chocolates and sinfully decadent (and gigantic!) desserts. Next week, they’ll be offering the ultimate chocolate lover’s wet dream beginning with two delicious chocolate martinis that pack a sweet, chocolate kick to the chest. See photo below.

But it doesn’t end there. After enjoying a few chocolate cocktails, you have the option of tasting one of their world-famous Frozen Hot Chocolates, or indulging in their Forbidden Broadway Sundae – A generous wedge of their chocolate blackout cake, on top of large scoops of ice cream, under a heaping pile of thick whipped cream, and with of course – a sweet cherry on top.

For the next few days, I’ll be hosting this week long event with a few other bloggers in the DC area to give you a quick preview of what you and your Valentine could be enjoying next week at Georgetown’s very first ‘Week For Chocolate’ tour.

Purchase your badge now, by clicking any of the options below! And by the way – the gold badge just got $15 cheaper! 😉

Let’s get chocolate wasted!
