Where Non-Redskin Fans Go To Drink

Just because the Redskins are officially peacing out for the season in ‘player evaluation mode‘ doesn’t mean Football Sundays have to come to a halt. For all you non-native DC sports junkies who  aren’t completely sold on the whole Griffining thing – here are a few spots to cheer on your home team alongside your brethren.

49ers: Town Tavern
Town Tavern is primed for San Fran fans with 15 plasma screens, $3 drafts and rails, and $5 Bud Pitchers, and $10 for a pitcher of beer and wing combo.
2323 18th St NW; Adams Morgan; 202-387-8696.

Bears: Billy Goat Tavern
Celebrating Chicago’s home team will serve you a free drink every time the Bears score, a deal good enough to impress even the most grizzlied veteran.
500 New Jersey Ave NW; Capitol Hill; 202-783-2123.

Eagles: Sign of the Whale
Supporting their species by showing love to Andy Reid, The Whale blasts Eagles games on over 15 flatscreens, pouring $10 pitchers, $3 drafts, and serving snacks like $5 truffle cheesesteak egg rolls.
1825 M St NW; Dupont Circle; 202-785-1110.

Steelers: The Mighty Pint
On NFL Sundays, The Pint serves $12 pitchers (and $15 beer buckets), and plates special Pittsburgh “Football menu” including Irish nachos (waffle fries covered in cheese, jalapenos and sour cream), Pennsylvania-favorite pierogies and more. Specials start 1 hour before kickoff and run until the end of the game.
1831 M Street NW; Dupont Circle; 202-466-3010.

Patriots: Kelly’s Irish Times
Entrenched on Mass Ave, Kelly’s hosts the Pats Fan Club, and will serve you a bowl of homemade chowdah or a Fenway Frank on game day.
14 F St NW; Capitol Hill; 202-543-5433.

Packers: Tonic at Quigley’s
Tonic invites Green Bay fans to watch A-Rod dominate with $3 High Lifes, $4 High Life beer brats, Wisconsin nachos, and 64-cent “Packers wings”.
2036 G St NW; Foggy Bottom; 202-296-0211.

Saints: The Cajun Experience
Wear your black and gold, and enjoy the “Saints TD Draft Beer special”, wherein beers start at $5, and drop $1 every time the Saints score a touchdown.
1825 18th St NW; Adams Morgan; 202-670-4416.
