Don’t panic, I’m only talking about the signature Baltimore Bomb Cookie, a shortbread cookie with chocolate that is only made from Baltimore, MD and is crumbled into one of the most deliciously sweet pies along with vanilla custard and melted chocolate from Dangerously Delicious Pies; owned by Rodney Henry, a former member of The Glenmont Popes, a Baltimore Rock Band.

Not in the mood for sweets? Try DDP’s Savory Pies and Quiches that are just as ‘dangerously delicious’. The BOG is a quiche with fluffy baked eggs, bits of bacon, onion and creamy gruyere cheese that remind me of the smooth japanese steamed egg appetizer Chawamushi with its soft and fluffy egg filling; except the BOG has little bits of savory surprises. In addition, the savory SMOG is filled with chopped steak, mushroom, onion and gruyere cheese under a flakey golden crust to pair with each bite.
If that’s not sweet enough, all week long (for the rest of this week) Dangerously Delicious Pies in DC is offering a ‘date night deal’ = 2 slices of savory, 2 slices of sweet and 2 drinks for $20.10. Enjoy!
P.S. If DC isn’t within your area, there’s also a Baltimore Location available for you to try out instead. Enjoy!
